The overall appearance of a product is affected by color and gloss. A sample of the same color but with a high gloss level is visually perceived as darker and more saturated than a sample with a low gloss. To achieve a consistent appearance, both attributes need to be controlled. The spectrophotometers from most other suppliers can only measure color value. In comparison, the SPEKTROMASTER 565 can measure both color and gloss simultaneously! Thus, the cause of any discrepancies can be clearly identified in any situation.
